v0.4.4 — Step C-2q closes

v0.4.4 is the follow-up beat to v0.4.3: it finishes the deferred PQP Frontier Step C-2q noise sweep and clears the ground for the next experimental gate, a native Floquet port on Selene.

Step C-2q result

90/90 cells PASS across 9 noise levels including realistic H2-2 depolarizing rates and leakage. Rule (M) remains sound on noisy Selene shots.

Next gate

Native Floquet cycle on Selene: a small heavy-hex (or 1D chain) mixed-field Ising magnet, ported from the Leviatan et al. 2026 reading note in G19.

What the result means

The v0.4.0 milestone proved that rule (M) is physical on ideal Selene shots. Step C-2q asks whether the same 10 shortest PROMOTED 2q identities survive realistic depolarizing and leakage channels. Because both sides of each identity A ≡ B experience the same noise, the residual difference should stay below the 4σ binomial threshold 4·√(0.5/shots) per cell. The data shows it does, even at 20× H2-class depolarizing rates and at H2-class leakage.

The realistic acceptance level is depol_h2 (H2-2 gate/readout rates), which is now 10/10 PASS. The 5× and 20× levels, plus the leakage levels, are stress diagnostics that confirm the rule is robust rather than narrowly tuned.
